Samsung smartphones & tablets now support Gemini 2.5 

Samsung Galaxy smartphone and tablet users with the Gemini Advanced subscription are getting Google’s newly released most advanced AI model: Gemini 2.5 Pro. 

Google is actively working to expand the ways of its AI assistant Gemini by offering new features and changes to make it more advanced to enhance user experience. Meanwhile, it has now announced the latest and most advanced AI model, Gemini 2.5 Pro, and made it available on Samsung phones and tablets for paid subscribers. 

Google introduced Gemini 2.5 Pro for Gemini Advanced subscribers, which offers more enhanced reasoning to all models in the series. With the latest upgrade, the Gemini app is powered by Gemini 2.5 Pro AI models and is capable of reasoning through their thoughts before responding, resulting in improved performance and accuracy. 

Reportedly, it already ranks higher than the best AI models from OpenAI, Claude, Grok, and DeepSeek and delivers efficiently enhanced coding performance, native support for multimodality, and a 1-million context window. 

Samsung already offered a six months of free subscription to Gemini Advanced with the Galaxy S25 series. This means that Galaxy S25 users can use the newly introduced Gemini 2.5 Pro for free until the subscription expires. 

The Gemini 2.5 Pro is compatible with handling more complex tasks and supports more capable & context-aware AI agents. Compared to Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking, the latest Gemini 2.5 Pro delivers a “new level of performance by combining a significantly enhanced base model with improved post-training.”Regarding the new Gemini AI model, Google also claimed that it has topped the LMArena leaderboard, defeating rivals by a significant margin.
