Samsung launches ‘The Premiere 5’: A new 4K projector with touch interaction

Samsung Electronics launched a premium home projector, ‘The Premiere 5’, which is equipped with touch interaction abilities, in South Korea.

Initially, the Korean tech giant has introduced the newly launched 4K laser ultra-short-throw projector earlier this year at the CES 2025 in Las Vegas, USA, and now finally made it available for purchase in the company’s home country.

The Premiere 5 features a triple-laser ultra-short-throw image projection system with support for 4K resolution. It is compatible with displaying up to a 100-inch image (diagonal) from a distance of approximately 43cm via triple laser technology.

Samsung offered five notable features with the latest projector, which are as follows-

  • Triple Laser, Ultra Short Throw, Touch-based interaction, Vision Booster, and Compact design.

All of these five features will deliver an enhanced user experience that transforms everyday spaces into immersive content spaces. The Premiere 5 can recognize the surrounding brightness and adjust the contrast, color, and brightness automatically with the help of Vision Booster technology to deliver clear picture quality. It also lets you connect SmartThings to connect and control various smart devices in your house, like lights, air purifiers, and TVS.
