Samsung launched its super-slim and lightweight Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset. Now, Samsung is flexing its newly launched device and mocking its biggest rival (iPhone) for being too heavy.
Undoubtedly, Samsung and Apple are one of the biggest rivals of each one in the tech industry, and both hardly miss the chance to mock one another. This time, Samsung is making its newly launched Galaxy S25 Edge a golden opportunity to mock Apple’s iPhone for being too heavy.
The Galaxy S25 Edge just weighs 163g and measures 5.8mm in thickness. Samsung, via its official Instagram handle, shared a short video post, which is praising the Galaxy S25 Edge and taking down the iPhone for being heavy.
The video showcases two phones, including the Galaxy S25 Edge on the left side and an iPhone (not a specific model) on the right side, tied to 61 balloons. As each balloon was popped, the iPhone promptly fell after only six balloons were broken. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 Edge remained “floating” in the air with the remaining 55 balloons, as a visual demonstration of its superior lightness.
However, Samsung hasn’t mentioned the specific model name of the iPhone, but the image clearly refers to an iPhone. Now it remains to see how Apple will respond to this mocking.
