More specifically, the update is just a minor security patch; however, it doesn’t bring any major features and changes; rather it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.

It introduces a host of key bug fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been discovered in the previous version in order to offer a more secure user experience, while also keeping the device secure against external potential threats.

At the same time, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behaviour and brings certain performance optimisations that eventually leads to a smoother, stable and optimised functionality.

Well, Samsung is currently busy in rolling out the May 2025 security patch to its leftover devices, while also working on smoother dispatch of the latest One UI 7 stable rollout at the same time.
