Galaxy S23 FE’s May 2025 Security Patch reaches Verizon-locked models in the US

Samsung is currently expanding the May 2025 security update for the Galaxy devices in more eligible countries apart from South Korea. Meanwhile, the company has started rolling out the latest patch for the Galaxy S23 FE in the US.
While the latest May patch already hit the Galaxy S23 family worldwide, Samsung is now looking towards the expansion of the update for the Galaxy S23 FE owners to more regions.
Currently the Verizon-locked Galaxy S23 FE models are getting the update in the US, which is identified with the build number S711USQS6DYE2 and is expected to reach across the country in the near future.
More specifically, the May 2025 security patch is just a minor update that, however, doesn’t introduce any major features and changes; rather, it significantly improves the device’s overall security and core functionality and brings a host of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous version to provide a more secure user experience while also keeping the device safe from external threats.
Beyond this, the update further brings stability and reliability to the entire system behavior and brings certain performance optimizations in order to provide a smoother, more stable, and more optimized functionality to the users.
Well, the US-based Galaxy S23 FE owners are already getting the update; thus, they can check out and download the update on their devices via the Settings app.
