Samsung SmartThings update brings personalized recommendations, Map View and more

Samsung’s SmartThings app allows Galaxy users to quickly connect and control their smart home devices like Samsung smart TVs, smart home appliances and multiple smart home devices all from one app. Meanwhile, the latest update for the SmartThings app brings some new and interesting changes and improvements.

The post-update for the SmartThings app takes it to an all new version, 1.8.33.25 and is now available to download via the Galaxy Store.

Specifically, the new update primarily focuses on offering better services to the users, while some features have been  improved in the latest version, where first up, the Home Life is now integrated with more personalized recommendations which will suggest services and send messages that significantly match the user’s lifestyle and are tailored to their daily preferences.

Beyond this, the changelog further lists that Map View within the SmartThings app is now integrated into the Home tab, allowing users a quick and convenient access to the entire Map of their smart home devices arranged in the room.

In addition, the update further adds an ability, where users will now be able to share a tag’s location using a simple link without performing any hefty process.

Well, it looks like Samsung is eyeing an exciting change for its useful SmartThings app, and such features that are mentioned above will indeed take the user experience to the next level, while also providing more convenience and smart home connectivity to the users.

Since the update cycle never ends, future updates could possibly lift up the overall app’s experience when connecting smart home devices via the app.
