Galaxy S26 Could Shine with Exynos 2600 Performance Boost

Samsung is supposed to debut the next-generation flagship lineup, Galaxy S26, in 2026, which is expected to deliver impressive performance, thanks to its Exynos 2600 chipset.
Samsung is working on the Galaxy S26 series, which is expected to include four models: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, Galaxy S26 Ultra, and Galaxy S26 Edge. It’s also expected that Samsung could use its in-house Exynos 2600 chipset to power the upcoming Galaxy S26.
The Exynos 2600 chipset is already rumored to bring a big boost in speed and power as compared to its predecessors. Meanwhile, a reliable tipster, @OreXda, via his X handle, shared a post revealing the key details of the Exynos 2600 chipset.
According to the tipster, Samsung used 2nm technology for its next-generation Exynos 2600 chipset, including two powerful Cortex-X cores and six Cortex-A cores. Reportedly, in early test results on Geekbench, the single-core of the chipset could score 2400, and the multi-core score 9400. These scores suggest that it could be about 20% faster in single-core and 15% faster in multi-core performance as compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 2400.
He also mentioned that the Xclipse 960 GPU may score at least 5,800 in 3DMark Wild Life Extreme and reach up to 85 frames per second in the GFXBench Aztec Ruins test, which will result in smoother graphics and better gaming on the phone.
However, Samsung has yet to officially confirm whether it will use its in-house Exynos 2600 chipset to power the Galaxy S26 or go for Snapdragon again. But in case the expectation and tipster’s report come true, then the Galaxy S26 could be much faster and better for gaming and high-end programming as compared to its predecessors.
