Galaxy watch FE gets May 2025 security patch in the US

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Watch FE back in 2024, the watch comes as the affordable option for smartwatch users. It comes with the wearOS 4 based One UI 5 watch and later it has already received one major update as One UI 6 watch. Now with the latest development it has started getting the latest May 2025 patch.

Earlier last month, Samsung introduced the latest security patch update, May 2025 patch to its latest Galaxy watches including Galaxy watch 7, watch Ultra, Watch 6 series, watch 5 series and watch 4 series , now it has started expanding it to the Galaxy watch FE devices.

The Galaxy watch FE is spotted getting May 2025 security patch on the Verizon locked units, it is caring the firmware version number R866USQS1AYE9. There is no specific changelog given for the device so it is expected that there will be no significant change could be arrived for the devices.

However, the May 2025 patch will bring some internal changes to enhance the security of the devices. The update may also bring some new changes to enhance the other functionalities of the devices.

If you are also getting any issues then you should update the watch, to do that you just  connect you watch to the smartphone then go go the Galaxy wearable app, navigate to setting, then download  and install
