Galaxy S23 and S22 series June 2025 Security Patch expanding in more countries

Samsung initiated the June 2025 security patch rollout for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22 series from its home town, South Korea; meanwhile, the company has started expanding the update for its older generation flagship S series models in other countries.
More specifically, Samsung is already releasing a new update for the Galaxy S23 as well as Galaxy S22 series in Europe, while the latest update for these devices has been identified with their detectable build numbers, S91*BXXS8DYF1 and S90*BXXSFFYF1 respectively.
Meanwhile, the latest June security patch is just a minor security patch that; however, doesn’t carry any major features and changes, rather it significantly adds key improvements to the device’s overall security and core functionality.

It brings plenty of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged in the previous version to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats.
Beyond this, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for an efficient functionality, and brings certain optimizations to the overall device’s performance that eventually offers a more smooth, stable and optimized experience to the users.
Well, currently, the June patch for the Galaxy S23 as well as Galaxy S22 models is going live in Europe, while more eligible countries will join the update in the near future. For now, users can check and download the latest version on their devices via the Settings app.
