Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 Enterprise Editions to Receive 8 Years of Software Support

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are to be launched on 9 July at the Unpacked event, and the Enterprise editions of these foldable devices are now rumored to have eight years of software support.
Samsung is all set to launch the next-generation foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, next month at the July Unpacked event. Up to date, there are no leaks, and reports regarding the Enterprise editions of these foldable phones have come into existence, but it seems that the company could launch them a few weeks after the Unpacked event.
Meanwhile, now, a reliable tipster, Anthony, shared a post on X claiming that the Enterprise editions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will get eight years of software support, which includes eight major OS updates and regular security patches for up to eight years.
If this report comes true, then these devices will get the longest software support ever on foldables. However, Samsung hasn’t revealed a single detail regarding the existence of the upcoming foldable phone’s enterprise editions, so it remains to be seen whether the report will come true.
Whereas, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are highly anticipated to get seven major Android OS updates and regular security patches for up to seven years. Both the foldable phones will run Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box, and according to the seven years of software support, they will get Android 23 as their last OS update and security patches till 2032.
