Samsung initiates One UI 8 testing on Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy S22

Samsung has introduced the One UI 8 as beta testing for the Galaxy S25 series and in the coming days it will expand the beta program to more devices. However, it will be limited to some devices which belong to the latest flagships. Meanwhile the company is also testing the software for other devices like Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy S22 internally.
The One UI 8 update will be based on the next major Android 16 update which will provide several new changes for the device including the visual changes to the UI and add some new feature to enhance the overall experience of the users.
According to the tipster, Samsung is testing the One UI 8 for Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy S22 with the build number S721BXXU6CYG1 and S908BXXUFGYG1 respectively . Notably the testing is running internally. Informatively, Samsung has released the Galaxy S24 FE back in 2024 with the Android 14 out of the box , since then the device has already got the one major update as Android 15, so the One UI 8 based on Android 16 will be second major update and in the coming days it will get five more major updates in the coming years.
Meanwhile the Galaxy S22 was released back in 2022, it was come with the Android 12, later it has received the one three major update as Android 13, Android 14 and Android 15, and with the Android 16 based One UI 8 will be available in the coming days. and continuing the software policy it will not get the major update but it will get security patches.
