Galaxy Watch 6 Series to get One UI 8 Watch Beta Soon

Samsung released the One UI 8 Watch Beta program for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra a couple of days ago, and now, it appears like Samsung is preparing a One UI 8 Watch build for the Galaxy Watch 6 series, as the Watch 6 Classic has just appeared on the test servers for the first time.

The newly released One UI 8 Watch runs Google’s Wear OS 6 on top, significantly bringing a lot of interesting and helpful health-based features for the Galaxy Watch audiences.

Meanwhile, according to the report by a user on X, claiming that the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic model has just appeared running the One UI 8 Watch beta test build for the first time, the version number is identified as R955NKOU1ZYG1. This eventually suggests that Samsung has already begun the One UI 8 Watch internal testing for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic, and hopefully, the Galaxy Watch 6 models are the next wearables to receive the One UI 8 Watch beta soon.

However, the availability of the One UI 8 Watch beta for the Galaxy Watch 6 series is expected soon, and the program is limited to South Korea and the US. Beyond this, the latest Wear OS-powered One UI 8 Watch brings a host of features for the Galaxy wearables via the Samsung Health app.

Well, the update is bundled up with some prominent features, like Bedtime Guidance, Vascular Load, Running Coach, and the Antioxidant Index feature; however, these functionalities are currently reserved for the newer generation Galaxy watches, including Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra.
