Samsung budget phone Galaxy A04 gets refreshed with July 2025 Security Update

Samsung released details of the latest July 2025 security update for its Galaxy devices a couple of days ago. While the update is gradually reaching more models in different countries, the budget-tier Galaxy A04 4G is getting the update in Asian countries.

Usually, Samsung does not follow any significant pattern when updating its devices with the monthly security patches, and thus the update is random.

Meanwhile, the ’Galaxy A04, a series launched in 2022, has been spotted getting a new software update that significantly integrates the July 2025 security patch and is now available in Asian countries, including Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

At the same time, the latest firmware for the device carries version number A045FXXSBEYF5. More specifically, the update, however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes but apparently packs some significant bug fixes and other relevant improvements that eventually focus on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.

The update basically adds several patches that have been collectively brought up by both Google and Samsung for all the security vulnerabilities to provide a more secure user experience while also protecting the device against sophisticated threats. It further adds stability to the overall system behavior to offer a smooth, stable, and optimized experience to the users.
