One UI 8’s development is progressing smoothly, while the version has already entered into the 3rd beta stage for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra models. Now, the Galaxy S23 FE units have started appearing on internal test servers.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE also joins the list, as, according to tipster Tarun Vats on X, the Galaxy S23 FE models have just made their appearance on Samsung’s internal test servers and are spotted running the new Android 16-based One UI 8 build, suggesting that the company is further testing the newest OS version on this fan edition model behind closed doors.
More specifically, the device carries a new version number, S711BXXU9FYG2, where the build apparently hints at the European variant. However, it’s important to note that Samsung limits such test builds for the internal testing purpose and will not be distributed to all the users publicly.
So far, several other major flagships, such as the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold 5, and many more devices, including the Galaxy A55, Galaxy S25 Edge, etc., have already been spotted running One UI 8 internally.
Well, Samsung’s One UI 8 is going to run over Android 16 and is considered to be a smoother and much more refined upgrade to One UI 7. The update is expected to feature some exciting changes and enhancements out of the box. At the same time, the company is also looking towards upgrading the overall security of the entire Galaxy ecosystem.
From featuring Google’s newest Material 3 Expressive design to improved Samsung Knox Vault to an all-new Advanced Protection feature and more boosted performance and functionality, the newest version will be taking the overall user experience to the next level.
