Samsung rugged phones, Galaxy XCover 7/ Pro and XCover 6 Pro receive July 2025 Update

Samsung’s rugged devices are considerably known for their durability and sturdiness; basically, they are designed to handle every tough environment. Since the device attracts adventure lovers, Samsung likes to keep its rugged category updated. Meanwhile, the Galaxy XCover 7 series alongside XCover 6 Pro units is getting a new software update.

The XCover series is significantly packed with some amazing features and upgrades. At the same time, Samsung is rolling out a software update for the Galaxy XCover 7, XCover 7 Pro, and XCover 6 Pro models that apparently brings an all-new July 2025 security patch, which is now available in Europe.

The latest firmware for the Galaxy XCover 7 and Galaxy XCover 7 Pro comes with the version numbers G556BXXSACYF6 and G766BXXS2AYG1, while the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro holds the G736BXXSAFYG1 build number.

Specifically, as usual, Samsung’s monthly security patches don’t bring any major features and changes; instead, they focus on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality. The update significantly packs a handful of bug fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that help devices to deal with sophisticated threats, while also providing a secure user experience.

Additionally, the update further adds stability and optimizes performance for an efficient, smooth, and stable experience for the users. Well, Samsung is already distributing the update for these rugged devices; thus, users can download the latest update; however, it will reach all the users gradually.
