Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Edge: Battery, Design, and Camera Leaks

Samsung has already started working on the next-generation Galaxy S26 series, and now, the battery details of the Ultra and Edge models of the lineup have surfaced online.

The Galaxy S26 series will debut in early 2026, which is anticipated to include at least three models, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The existence of the Galaxy S26+ variant is in question, as the previous report suggests that the company could replace the Plus variant with the Edge.

Now, a reliable tipster, Ice Universe on X, shared two posts (1 & 2) revealing a few details of the Galaxy S26 Edge and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Let’s take a closer look at the report.

According to the tipster, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will exceed the charging power of 45W. If the report comes true, then the device will achieve the fastest charging speed in Samsung’s history. Coming to the Galaxy S26 Edge, it is reported to feature a thinner design as compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Edge, which measures 5.8 mm. It means that the coming Galaxy S26 Edge will measure less than 5.8 mm in thickness. It will also feature a larger battery thanks to new battery material technology.

A few months back, it was reported that the Galaxy S26 Edge could feature a 50MP camera from Sony. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to get a brighter, more efficient CoE OLED screen. However, Samsung hasn’t revealed any official details regarding the design and specifications of the devices yet, so it remains to be seen whether the leaked report will come true.
