Galaxy A17 Makes Its First Appearance, Aiming to Rule the Budget Segment

Samsung is actively working on expanding its mid-range Galaxy A-series by debuting more devices; currently, the Galaxy A17 is in the pipeline, and now the new renders of the device are surfacing online.

The Korean tech giant has several devices in the pipeline to debut by the end of this year, including the Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Tri Fold, Galaxy Tab S11 series, Galaxy A07, and Galaxy A17. Samsung launched the Galaxy A16 in October last year, and now it’s looking forward to introducing its successor, the Galaxy A17.

The upcoming Galaxy A17 device has already made its existence known on several certifications, such as Geekbench, and it has also gotten official web support in several countries. Now, one of our reliable colleagues, Android Headline, leaked the official renders of the device, which hints at the near launch.

The leaked images of the device revealed a similar design to what we usually see in the Galaxy A1x lineup. The notable part of the leaked image is the bezels and a plain back with a triple-camera setup; apart from this, there’s no major change in the design.

The device is expected to be powered by an in-house Exynos 1380 chipset integrated with 6GB of RAM and run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. It could feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and have a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. However, Samsung has yet to reveal the official specifications of the device, so it remains to be seen whether the leaked details will come into existence.
