Samsung says Galaxy S26 to have multiple AI Assistant options

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series is supposed to bring a new revolution in the smartphone market with the brand-new design, specifications, and more advanced features. Meanwhile, Samsung confirmed the series will have multiple options for an AI assistant.

Currently, Samsung has adopted Google’s Gemini AI assistant for its new Galaxy smartphones over its dedicated Bixby assistant. Now, the company seems to be expanding the options for an AI assistant.

Bloomberg revealed that in a face-to-face interview, Won-Joo Choi, the president of Samsung’s smartphone division, shared that it is looking forward to bringing more AI features to its Galaxy phones in the future.

He also confirmed that Gemini won’t be the only AI assistant that will be integrated into the Galaxy S26 series, which means that it will offer multiple AI agents and assistants. However, he hasn’t mentioned the exact name for the new AI framework, but it’s highly anticipated to integrate Perplexity as a new AI assistant. Choi also stated that the company is talking to multiple vendors for the Galaxy S26 series, and more information will be revealed near the launch of the series.

Recently, it’s been revealed that the upcoming Galaxy S26 series will include three models, but with new branding names; for instance, the base model will be called Galaxy S26 Pro, the plus model will be called Galaxy S26 Edge, and the Ultra will remain the same.
