Samsung speaks up on Galaxy S25 FE, revealing launch will take place earlier than expected

While the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is already 7 months old, fans have started showing their curiosity about the upcoming Fan Edition model, the Galaxy S25 FE. Samsung has given a clarification of releasing the newest FE unit much earlier than its usual timeline.

Right after the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge, its slimmest and most stylish model yet, the Galaxy S25 FE is going to be the fifth member of the Galaxy S25 family.

However, Samsung typically follows a pattern of releasing the Fan Edition models somewhere in late September or in early October or straight by the end of the year. Now, a report (via Android Authority) suggests that fans will be witnessing the Galaxy S25 FE earlier, perhaps in September itself.

Specifically, during Samsung’s Q2 2025 earnings call, the company’s vice president highlights that the newest Galaxy S25 FE will launch earlier. However, the official didn’t reveal any exact launch timeline for the S25 FE but eventually claimed that the fan edition models will arrive early, either by the end of August or in the beginning of September.

Samsung appears to be looking towards a significant boost in the marketing sales count for its newest Fan Edition phone. Well, at the same time, Samsung also has a few Galaxy devices that are already lined up in the queue to be launched by the end of this year, including the Galaxy Tab S11, alongside its first-ever TriFold, and the Project Moohan Android XR Headset.

Well, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 FE, however, will not be bringing any major improvements; rather, the device is expected to arrive with only a few minor enhancements when compared to the Galaxy S24 FE, as the internal elements or specifications are more or less identical to the predecessor but with some slight upgrades.
