Here’s When Galaxy S24 Users Can Expect Android 16-Based One UI 8 Beta Update?

Samsung’s progress with One UI 8 looks impressive; meanwhile, the company has just disclosed that the latest Android 16-based software’s beta program will be available for more Galaxy devices, starting next month. But what about the Galaxy S24’s beta timeline, which is highly considerable, being the S series’ flagship?

The Galaxy S25 series has been testing One UI 8 beta since May, with four beta builds already released, and it is high time that more eligible Galaxy devices should join the One UI 8 beta program.

One UI 8 Beta Program Available for Galaxy S24 Series Soon

Now, Samsung is appearing to be taking the next step towards making its next major OS stable, as the company has officially announced that the One UI 8 beta program will be expanded to more Galaxy devices, starting next week. At the same time, Samsung has further confirmed that the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series will be available from next week; however, the exact date is not yet confirmed.

Nevertheless, the company has not clarified the Galaxy devices that are supposed to be receiving the One UI 8 beta program, but perhaps the Galaxy S24 FE will not be in the race to get a beta update. Also, there are various other Galaxy devices that are ineligible for the beta program. Further, Samsung will be delivering the One UI 8 beta program only in four countries, out of seven reserved regions, including India, South Korea, the UK, and the US.

Well, next week is going to be crucial for the Galaxy S24 owners with regard to the beta program. At the same time, Samsung is eyeing releasing the stable One UI 8 version for the Galaxy S25 series by September 2025, while other eligible Galaxy devices will follow the update all throughout this year.
