One UI 8 Watch Officially Coming to All Supported Galaxy Watches in 2025

Samsung took its official newsroom to announce that it will release the One UI 8 Watch for eligible Galaxy Watch models by the end of this year.
Last month, Samsung launched the latest Galaxy Watch 8 series, based on One UI 8 Watch. Now, the company is looking forward to expanding this latest version to more Galaxy Watches before the year ends.
Recently, Samsung announced that it will expand the Android 16-based One UI 8 beta to more Galaxy phones. Alongside this statement, the company also revealed a tiny bit more regarding its future strategy for the One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watches.
Samsung confirmed that it will roll out the One UI 8 Watch update for all the eligible Galaxy Watches in 2025; however, it doesn’t mention the exact timeline or date for the release. The company also does not reveal the specific eligible Galaxy Watch name for the update, but previously, it confirmed that the One UI 8 Watch will be supported by the Galaxy Watch 4 and later models. This hints that the Galaxy Watch 4 may be the last model to receive the update.
The One UI 8 Watch update will bring motivational health features and a more refined and intuitive smartwatch interface to a wider range of users. It’s already reported that Samsung has started One UI 8 Watch testing on the Galaxy Watch 5.
