Galaxy Watch Classic Fans Spot an Interesting Detail About the Bezel
Basically, a random Galaxy Watch 6 Classic owner took it to the Reddit platform (via Android Authority) and shared a short clip where the user just discovered that the watch’s rotating bezel even works when held a centimeter above the display, as the watch was responding normally, while also suggesting that the bezel works on the magnetic sensor mechanism.
Also, another fan elaborated on the reason behind the bezel’s working in mid-air:the Galaxy Watch’s rotating bezel consists of a Hall Sensor, which is basically a minute component that significantly tracks changes in the magnetic field. In simple words, the Galaxy Watch completely has a magnetic setup, which can be seen when the bezel accidentally scrolls when the watch is kept on a magnetic charger.
Well, Samsung is continuously analyzing the progress of the latest Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch and has officially announced that the support will be coming to more eligible Galaxy Watches in the near future. Currently, the company has started rolling out One UI 8 Watch Beta 2 for Galaxy Watch 7 models, following the stable release for the Galaxy Watch Ultra units.
