Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE Officially Unveiled: Premium Features at Lower Price

Samsung surprisingly launched the latest truly wireless earphones, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, coupled with a minimalist design, powerful sound, active noise cancellation, and more convenient features.

The newly launched Galaxy Buds 3 FE is available in two color variants: Black and Gray. Each earbud weighs 5g, while the charging case of the buds weighs 41.8g. To protect the earphones from dust, sweat, or light rain, Samsung offered IP54 ratings.

The buds have silicone pads that fit snugly in the ear, helping to reduce natural noise and enhance stability during movement. The supporting intuitive swipe and touch operations of the Galaxy Buds 3 FE are similar to those of the Buds 3 Pro.

The Galaxy Buds 3 FE are equipped with an 11 mm dynamic driver, optimized for deep bass, clear highs, and energetic overall sound. The company offered 6 microphones to each earbud, combined with AI Voice Isolation technology that helps to keep your voice clear even when you are in a crowded place. They support ANC (active noise cancellation) up to 32 dB.

Samsung offered Ambient Mode and AAC, SBC, & SSC support to the Buds 3 FE. For connectivity options, the buds have Bluetooth 5.4 and Auto Switch, which seamlessly switches between your phone, tablet, or Galaxy laptop.

The notable feature is Galaxy AI integration, as the Galaxy Buds 3 FE is compatible with AI features. When connected to a Galaxy smartphone, you can use Interpreter Mode to translate directly, check email, calendar, and messages, control music, and even call the virtual assistant Google Gemini with just the command “Hey Google.”

Each earbud has a 53 mAh battery, which will deliver 6 hours of continuous music playback with ANC enabled, whereas with ANC off, the buds will offer up to 8.5 hours of playback. When coupled with the 515 mAh charging case, the total usage time is up to 24 hours with ANC on and 30 hours with ANC off.It will provide 4 hours of voice call time with both ANC off and on.

Samsung will push the Galaxy Buds 3 FE to go on sale globally from September 5. The US variant of the buds will be priced at $149.99.
