Samsung’s progress with One UI 8 is apparently commendable, and the stable rollout appears on time. While the Galaxy S25 family is already testing the fifth One UI 8 beta, it looks like Samsung is preparing to release yet another beta build for the S25 series before entering into the stable rollout phase.
It’s impressive that Samsung is not repeating its mistakes with One UI 8 as it did with One UI 7, which happened to be a disastrously delayed software rollout despite being the best upgraded OS so far. Thankfully, One UI 8 seems on time.
Since Samsung already released the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta 5 for the Galaxy S25 series, a new report flashes hints that yet another beta version is under process and is incoming.
Basically, according to the tipster, Tarun Vats, via X, an all-new One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy S25 series has just been spotted on Samsung’s internal test servers, carrying the build number ZYH9, which significantly hints that the company is planning to deliver one last beta for the S25 family before rolling out the stable One UI 8 version.
Well, Samsung’s newest major OS, One UI 8, which will run Android 16 on top, may not be the massive update with a host of new features, but it’s the most significant upgrade over the functionalities that One UI 7 lacks.
At the same time, with the stable One UI 8 rollout for the Galaxy S25 family scheduled for September, more eligible older-generation Galaxy devices will be testing the beta build and will start receiving the stable version sequentially over a course of time.
