Samsung is progressing with expanding the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 support to not only its eligible Galaxy devices but also to its apps and services, primarily the Good Lock apps. With that in mind, the company has started rolling out a new update for the PENUP app.
Basically, PENUP is an SNS-based application that allows users to engage in a new level of creativity using their Galaxy device’s S Pen while also allowing users to share their creativity with their friends or family or even with the audience involved within the app globally.
Meanwhile, the new update for the PENUP app is now available to download via the Galaxy Store, and it takes it to a new version, v3.9.21.14.
Specifically, according to the changelog, the latest update finally adds the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 support to the app, thus providing all the latest and newly added features for the devices running the new OS. Also, the update further adds some new brushes as a drawing tool in order to provide additional elements to enhance users’ creativity among their friends and even to showcase their drawing talent globally.
Other than that, the update also adds a few essential bug fixes and improvements that in turn provide a smooth and more efficient behavior for the users to showcase their creativity.
Well, Samsung has been working on the One UI 8 beta rollout for its eligible Galaxy devices, while at the same time, the stable release is set for this month, starting with the Galaxy S25 series, followed by more devices in the coming months.
