Galaxy A26 gets Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update

Samsung is currently continuing with the stable One UI 8 rollout for its Galaxy devices, and impressively, the progress is smooth and quick at the same time. Meanwhile, in the list of other phones, the Galaxy A26 owners can rejoice as the update is rolling out for the model.
So far, Samsung is progressing the stable update rollout for Galaxy devices in South Korea, but this time, things are different with the mid-tier Galaxy A26 models, as the update is currently available and spotted in Asia’s Vietnam and is expected to follow in more countries over the course of time.
At the same time, the first stable One UI 8 build for the Galaxy A26 comes with the version number A266BXXU4BYI2; thus, users can now download the latest version on their devices through Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
Samsung’s One UI 8 may not be huge, but it is considered the most significant upgrade over One UI 7 out of the box. The latest Android 16-based update is packed with several new and improved features. It redefines the overall UI elements while also adding new ones to provide a more interactive experience.
It adds various upgrades for system productivity, security & privacy, and accessibility and also brings improved Galaxy AI features, enhanced health tracking, multitasking, camera, lock screen, and home screen widgets, and further makes the entire UI look more clean, fresh, and interactive, which eventually offers a smooth, stable, and seamless user experience.
