After the S25 series, Samsung delivers the October 2025 Security Update for the S24 lineup

While the Galaxy S25 series was the first series to get the latest October 2025 security update, Samsung has begun extending the patch for more eligible Galaxy devices. Meanwhile, the company is rolling out the update for the Galaxy S24 family.

The October 2025 security update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra is currently available in Thailand, carrying version numbers S921NKSS4CYJ1, S926NKSS4CYJ1, and S928NKSS4CYJ1, respectively.

Noticeably, the update is expected to reach other major countries, including South Korea, in the near future.

However, as usual, the latest October patch is also a minor update that doesn’t bring any major features or changes; rather, it significantly adds a host of bug fixes and other improvements that were acknowledged in the previous version, which focuses on improving the device’s overall security, functionality and performance, while also protecting the device against potential threats and attacks.

On the other hand, the update further adds stability to the entire system behavior and functionality, and also brings several optimizations to the device’s performance to provide a smooth, stable, and efficient user experience.

Well, Samsung is currently rolling out the October 2025 security update for its flagship devices, the Galaxy S25 and the S24 series; meanwhile, it’s expected that the security patch will reach more Galaxy devices in the coming weeks.
