Samsung is expected to launch its first multi-folding device, the Galaxy Tri-Fold, this week, and ahead of the launch, its first official look is surfacing online.
Back in July, during the (Q2) 2025 earnings call, Samsung announced that it would launch its tri-folding by the end of this year; however, it didn’t reveal the exact launch timeline. Recently, it’s been revealed that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Tri-Fold later this week during the APEC 2025 summit, which will take place from October 31 to November 1.
The summit will take place in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, from October 31 to November 1.
Meanwhile, now a reliable tipster, @UniverseIce, shared the first official look of the upcoming Galaxy Tri-Fold via its X handle. While another source, Chosun Media, also shared an image of the device.

According to the leaked image, the Galaxy Tri-Fold can transform a 6.5-inch display phone into a tablet with a 10-inch display. It has two hinges, and you can fold and unfold it seamlessly.

Samsung is expected to launch the device in selected regions, including Korea, Greater Chinese markets (Singapore and Taiwan), and the UAE (possibly), but there’s no possibility the device will be available in the US market.
