Samsung Galaxy Watch users, get ready to experience a newly designed YouTube Music on your watches, as the app is getting a Material 3 Expressive design language.
Recently, Google has introduced a significant redesign for the Wear OS 6 update, which has been released to a few selected Galaxy Watches. Although not all related applications have yet implemented the new design language. One of the notable enhancements Google is preparing to bring is the newly designed YouTube Music.
According to a report from our reliable colleagues, Android Authority, it was revealed that the YouTube Music app has started getting Material 3 Expressive design language. However, to date, the new design is available only for the app’s Tile, i.e., widgets on the left side of the Wear OS Watch’s watch face. Meanwhile, now SamMobile has confirmed that the new design is evidently live.

Noticeably, the revamped YouTube Music will not be limited to just the device running Wear OS 6. Now the popular playlists have colourful backgrounds and a vertical poster with circular corners. The Browse button is close to the watch’s screen bezel on the bottom side.

With this new upgrade, selecting the playlist and starting to play favorite music will get quite easier. While inside the app, text uses a bolder font instead of the thinner font that appeared earlier. Since Galaxy Watches also runs Wear OS, it remains to be seen whether Samsung will adopt the Material 3 Expressive ensign language.
