Samsung Galaxy A57, powered by the in-house Exynos 1680 SoC, has now been listed on Geekbench; however, the scores are not satisfying enough.
Samsung is actively working on expanding its mid-range Galaxy A series this year, as it has already launched several smartphones under this series, including Galaxy A26, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A56. The company is now developing the successor model of these devices, starting with the Galaxy A57.
The Galaxy A57 smartphone is now listed on Geekbench (via) with the dedicated model number SM-A576B. According to the listing, the device’s Geekbench scores are pretty low, as mentioned below –
- Single-Core score – 1,311
- Multi-Core score – 4,347
The listing revealed that the smartphone is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1680 SoC, including eight cores, which are as follows –
- One prime core clocked at up to 2.91 GHz
- Four performance cores clocked at up to 2.60 GHz
- Three efficiency cores clocked at up to 1.95 GHz
The key difference between its predecessor seems to be that the Exynos 1680 features one extra performance core and one less efficiency core, while the clocks haven’t changed.
The Galaxy A57 has already appeared on several authorized platforms, including 3C certification, which revealed 45W charging support.
