Samsung’s next major software update is just around the corner, as the company is expected to begin the One UI 8.5 beta program soon. Since a host of leaks has already suggested how Samsung’s latest software is taking its shape, the newest version has something new for Now Brief.
Well, Samsung’s Now Brief was first introduced with the One UI 7 update, and indeed, Samsung has improved the feature with One UI 8, making it smarter than before! In case you missed it! The Now Brief significantly guides users throughout their day by providing various suggestions that can be accessed via the Now Bar on the phone’s lock screen.
Not just this, the recommended insights are all protected and secured by Samsung Knox Vault, which apparently boosts in order to create a more powerful and secure Galaxy AI experience.
Meanwhile, according to the latest report from Android Authority, it looks like the Now Brief is stepping into media recommendations, suggesting a worthwhile check out of Spotify’s favorite playlists or enjoying YouTube clips. Diving deeper into the leaked One UI 8.5 firmware, the source noticed that Samsung’s Now Brief is supposed to be getting even better.
Essentially, the Now Brief’s YouTube clip recommendations have been acting like a pain for the users for quite some time now, as they have reported on the same via Samsung community forums. Thankfully, the Authority’s report uncovered a string code that suggested that the company seems to be working on the same, and not just this, YouTube in Now Brief is getting much better now.
Essentially, Samsung aims to integrate YouTube recommendations into Now Brief, which are based on users’ moods and preferences. The string codes further instruct the app to place the user’s favorite track at the top.
At the same time, the code further shows some evidence for Spotify recommendations as well, where Now Brief is allegedly suggesting new playlists based on date and time. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen how Samsung implements these changes within its Now Brief.
