Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 series battery specifications revealed

Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 series is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S26 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event in January 2026; meanwhile, an unreleased One UI 8.5 build has revealed the battery specifications of these buds.

The Korean tech giant is actively working on its next iteration, One UI 8.5, which is supposed to be initially introduced stably on the Galaxy S26 series. However, to date, several unreleased One UI 8.5 builds have already revealed the key details of the next-generation Galaxy Buds 4 series.

The Galaxy Buds 4 series will include two variants: Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. One of our reliable colleagues, Android Authority, revealed that a new One UI 8.5 build has revealed the battery sizes for these upcoming buds.

According to the report, the base model will have a 42mAh battery; however, this is slightly smaller than its predecessor, the Galaxy Buds 3’s 48mAh battery. While the Pro model will have a 57mAh battery, bigger than the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro with 53mAh.

The previous report revealed codenames of these buds, according to which the base model is codenamed “Handel” and the Pro model is “Bach.” Recently, it’s also been revealed that the Galaxy Buds 4 series will support activating Interpreter mode by pressing and holding both earbuds at the same time.
