Samsung’s One UI 8.5 internal testing for the Galaxy A55 begins!

Samsung has already released its latest software, the One UI 8.5 beta for the Galaxy S25 series in four out of six countries; meanwhile, it looks like the company has started testing the One UI 8.5 beta build for the Galaxy A55 models.

Well, Samsung has been testing a few Galaxy devices so far, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy A17, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Now, a recent report claims that the Galaxy A55 also joins the list.

Specifically, according to a post shared from a user, Alfaturk, on X, the Galaxy A55 has been spotted with One UI 8.5 build on Samsung’s internal test servers, carrying the A556EXXUBDYL2 version number. This eventually suggests that the company has decided to extend its internal development for even more phones and has already started testing the latest One UI 8.5 build for the Galaxy A55, behind closed doors.

However, it perhaps doesn’t seem like Samsung is in the mood to expand its ongoing One UI 8.5 beta program for several Galaxy devices, and it looks like the company could limit the beta program for a fewer models, with the Galaxy S25 series already being testing the new beta version, beginning from December 8th, in selective countries, such as Germany, South Korea, the US, the UK, while the two remaining countries, including India and Poland will join the One UI 8.5 beta program later, most probably on December 22nd.

At the same time, Samsung’s latest One UI 8.5 version has been in the headlines for a few months now, while the changelog has already leaked, showcasing several new and major upgrades, which apparently make the One UI 8.5 more superior than One UI 8 and even One UI 7.0 version.
