The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is set to launch in the second half of 2026; meanwhile, a new report has leaked its camera specifications.
Following the ritual, Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 sometime in the third quarter of next year (Q3 2026) at the Galaxy Unpacked event; however, the exact launch timeline has yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, a reliable blog, GalaxyClub, revealed the camera specifications of the device, according to which Samsung is considering offering a new 12MP telephoto camera. It’s reported that the resolution could improve from 10MP, but it might be possible that the optical zoom may remain 3x.
The camera setup will include a 200MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera, which will be replaced with the current 12MP sensor. On the front side, a 10MP selfie camera will be housed. However, Samsung has yet to reveal the official camera specifications of the device; it remains to be seen whether the leaked details will come true.
It’s expected that Samsung will power the Galaxy Z Fold 8 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while its sibling model, the Galaxy Z Flip 8, is almost confirmed to be equipped with the Exynos 2600 chipset.
