Samsung Just Leaked Its Own Galaxy S26 Launch Date

Samsung’s marketing team might want to check their terms and conditions more carefully. The company appears to have accidentally confirmed when it plans to unveil the Galaxy S26 lineup, and the evidence comes from an unlikely source: a regional giveaway contest.

The official Samsung Gulf account posted about a competition offering Galaxy S25 FE phones and Galaxy Watch8 devices to lucky winners. Nothing unusual there. But buried in the contest’s fine print is a timeline that gives away more than Samsung probably intended.

The promotion runs in two phases. The teaser period ends February 24, 2026. Then the main phase kicks off February 25 and continues through April 10. That middle date lines up perfectly with previous whispers about when Galaxy Unpacked would happen.

It’s the kind of slip-up that happens when different teams don’t coordinate. Someone drafted legal terms based on internal dates, and nobody caught it before publishing.

Privacy display gets another tease

Meanwhile, Samsung released yet another preview image for the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s standout feature: a privacy display that apparently blacks out the entire screen from prying eyes. The teaser doesn’t reveal much beyond “next level of privacy” marketing speak, but it confirms the technology is coming.

The Galaxy S26 lineup has been dissected in leaks for months. We know the specs, the design changes, even the color options. The only real mystery left is pricing, where reports can’t seem to agree whether Samsung will hold the line, raise prices significantly, or split the difference.

February 25 is less than three weeks out. For a launch this thoroughly spoiled, the main question isn’t what Samsung will announce but whether anyone will still find it interesting.
