Samsung Galaxy A37 and A57: What the Spec Sheets Actually Tell You

Samsung’s mid-range lineup keeps expanding, and two phones quietly taking shape behind the scenes are the Galaxy A37 and A57. Fresh spec leaks give us enough to form a real opinion about where each one sits.

The A37 is the more interesting story. Samsung is swapping the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 for the Exynos 1480, which is a notable internal shift. Whether that’s a cost decision or a supply chain move isn’t clear yet, but Exynos returning to this tier will raise eyebrows. The ultra-wide camera also gets a genuine bump, going from 8MP to 12MP. It’s not a dramatic leap, but it addresses one of the weaker spots of the A36.

Galaxy A37 Specifications

  • Display: 6.7-inch AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate
  • Processor: Exynos 1480
  • RAM: 6GB or 8GB
  • Storage: 128GB or 256GB
  • Rear cameras: 50MP wide, 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro
  • Front camera: 12MP
  • Battery: 5,000mAh with 45W wired charging
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3
  • Dimensions: 162.9 x 78.2 x 7.4mm, 196g
  • Colors: Awesome Charcoal, Graygreen, Lavender, White
  • Software: One UI 8.5 (Android 16)

The A57 tells a slightly different story. Its processor steps up from the Exynos 1580 to the 1680, which should bring modest but real performance gains. Where it pulls ahead of the A37 is connectivity: Bluetooth 6.0 and Wi-Fi 6E replace the older standards. For most buyers this won’t matter today, but it’s the kind of future-proofing that justifies a small price premium. The cameras, however, stay identical to the A56, which feels like a missed opportunity at this price tier.

Galaxy A57 Specifications

  • Display: 6.7-inch AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate
  • Processor: Exynos 1680
  • RAM: 6GB or 8GB
  • Storage: 128GB or 256GB
  • Rear cameras: 50MP wide, 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro
  • Front camera: 12MP
  • Battery: 5,000mAh with 45W wired charging
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0
  • Dimensions: 161.5 x 76.9 x 6.9mm, 192g
  • Colors: Awesome Gray, Icyblue, Lilac, Navy
  • Software: One UI 8.5 (Android 16)

Both phones are steady, calculated upgrades designed to stay competitive without cannibalizing Samsung’s own lineup. Neither reinvents the formula, but the A57’s connectivity edge and the A37’s improved camera give each model a clear identity. Whether that’s enough depends entirely on what the pricing looks like at launch.
