Samsung has quietly been pushing out a wave of software updates across its wearable lineup, and if you own a Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, or Galaxy Fit 3, there is something waiting for you.

Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra Get Security Fixes

Both the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra are receiving the February 2026 security patch, which resolves 37 vulnerabilities. The Watch 7 update weighs in at 394.29MB with firmware version L315FXXU3BZB4, while the Ultra’s update is slightly larger at 432.87MB, carrying version L705FXXU3BZB4. India is among the first markets to receive both, with broader regional availability expected to follow.

Samsung’s changelogs for both watches mention improved device behavior alongside the security fixes, though the company has not specified what exactly changes in day-to-day use. That kind of vague language is frustrating, but it is worth installing regardless given the security coverage alone.

To update either watch, open the Galaxy Wearable app, head to Watch settings, select Watch software update, and tap Download and install.

Galaxy Fit 3 Also Gets an Update

The Galaxy Fit 3 is seeing its own update roll out across multiple regions, including Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia, and the Americas. The firmware version is R390XXU0AZA3, and the download sits at just 17.42MB. Samsung says it brings performance, reliability, and stability improvements, again without specifics.

To install, navigate to Band settings inside the Galaxy Wearable app and follow the same update flow. Your Fit 3 needs at least 50% battery before the process begins.

What About March?

Samsung has already detailed the March 2026 security patch, but it has not started rolling it out yet. Smartwatches will receive it after phones and tablets, so expect a wait of a few weeks at minimum.
