The product lineup at Samsung is growing enormously. After its most recent launch, Galaxy F54 5G became a major player in the smartphone and television markets. Now with the introduction of the SeeColors mode Monitor in its 2023 TV and monitor range, Samsung Electronics has introduced a new accessibility function to those with color vision deficiencies, sometimes referred to as color blindness, who have trouble telling some colors apart from others. Users of accessibility features can adjust their screens for better viewing.
The features give different color options according to the severity and type of CVD. The function makes sure that viewers with CVD can readily distinguish colors presented on the screen by modifying the red, green, and blue levels. The nine images preset offered by the SeeColors features are user selectable. SeeColors was first introduced in 2017 as an app that aims to enable people with CVD to enjoy displays in a way that is compatible with their vision.
Samsung must cease installing applications without our consent
This is due to the fact that a wide color gamut makes it possible to display a greater variety of colors. Samsung has acquired the “Colour Vision Accessibility” accreditation from TUV Rheinland, recognizing the effectiveness of the SeeColors mode in boosting content pleasure for those with CVD. In accordance with its mission of “Screens for All”, Samsung’s commitment to accessibility is further strengthened with this accreditation.

Seokwoo Jason Yong, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, stated, “We are thrilled to introduce additional accessibility features, including SeeColors and Relumino mode, in our 2023 TV and monitor lineup to assist individuals with colour blindness and low vision Under the vision of ‘Screens Everywhere, Screens for All’,we will continue to innovate and bring inclusive technologies closer to our consumers.”
It is said that a software update will be made available to the owners of 2023 models so that SeeColors may be included in the accessibility menu.
