The Korean tech giant is preparing for its next big update, and while that’s not Android 14, One UI 5.1.1 is bringing many new features, and it’s available for selected Galaxy devices.
At the beginning of the month, Samsung released the Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 beta program for its latest foldable, and tablets in South Korea. And now it is rolling out the second beta update for Galaxy Tab S8 models.
The second build of One UI 5.1.1 has already started rolling out to beta participants. The update (software version ZWG1) brings bug fixes and performance improvements. The complete changelog is as follows:
Major changes/improvements
- Fixed errors related to hotspot and WI-FI.
- Comfortable screen viewing actions cannot be restored after exiting the mode.
- Many other improvements.
Samsung is seeding the second One UI 5.1.1 beta update to Galaxy Watch Tab S8 users in South Korea. If you’re already enrolled in the beta program, you should receive the OTA notification on your device sometime soon.
