Samsung brings a new update for Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in Europe & India

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is the popular earbuds of Samsung. It was launched back in 2022 at the Galaxy Unpacked event and is now bringing new additions. The company has released new FE-branded Galaxy Buds globally; however, the company is still taking care of users who are using Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and sending them a new featureful update.

Samsung expands the Auracast feature in Europe & India

Last month, the company introduced a new update for its Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in South Korea to make it available to more users. The company has now expanded the update to Europe and India. It is expected that the company will expand the update to more countries in the next few days. In the latest update, the company has brought Auracast functionality to the devices, and now users will easily join the Auracast broadcast through the buds.

If you don’t know about Auracast, here is a quick introduction: It is a Bluetooth-integrated technology that enables you to broadcast anything and can easily listen to receivers such as headsets.

In regards to the update, Samsung has rolled out the new update for the Galaxy Buds2 Pro with firmware version number R510XXU0AWI2. It is available in a very compact software package of 5.88MB. Apart from the Auracast functionality, the update also brought some improvements to the stability and reliability of the device.

When you are about to install the new update on your buds, you should keep in mind that when the update is started, you will not be able to use the earbuds. It is necessary to connect both earbuds to update your software, and after getting updated to the latest software, some settings for your earbuds may change.

How to Join Auracast Broadcast

Once you install the latest update, you can easily join the Auracst broadcast by following these steps:

  1. First, connect your buds to the Auracast assistant device (which can be smartphones, smartwatches, or hearing aid remotes).
  2. Then go to the Bluetooth menu.
  3. Now click on the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro settings.
  4. Find the broadcast
  5. Then just click on the available broadcast to join in.

Additional Update Arrives for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 After One UI 6.1

Samsung is known for its faster update rollout for Galaxy devices, and sometimes it beats Google in terms of the latest software availability. But this time with the One UI 6.1, it seems like the company is taking longer than usual to expand it due to some issues similar to those Galaxy S22 users have recently encountered. but the company has taken quick action and provided improved software with new updates. Now it looks like the company has brought an incremental update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices after a major UI update.

Firmware details

The fresh updates for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 were spotted in South Korea with the firmware version numbers F936NKSU2FXE3 and F721NKSU2FXE3, respectively. The latest update is coming with a software package of 341.84 MB. It is using the same security patch level in the form of an April 2024 patch.

What’s new 

According to the changelog, the latest device update will include some new application code that will improve the overall security of the devices. The software package doesn’t appear to introduce any significant changes, but we anticipate that the update will address issues that may be specific to certain users.

If you are using the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones, then you can now install the latest update. To do it manually, first go to the system settings, then tap on the software update. Last week, Samsung rolled out the One UI 6.1 update to several flagship devices released in 2022, including the Galaxy S22 series in South Korea. However, when Galaxy S22 owners installed the update, they faced some issues related to booting. Therefore, the company has stopped the update and expansion.

One UI 6.1 Update Back for Galaxy S22 Series (After Bug Fix)

When the One UI 6.1 update expansion for the Galaxy S22 stopped and pulled back from the user who hadn’t updated the device at that time, Recently, the company has also confirmed an improvement update. Now, keeping its promise, it has quickly made improvements to the software and rolled out new updates. 

The latest update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra devices is live, with new version numbers S901NKSU3EXE1, S906NKSU3EXE1, and S908NKSU3EXE1, respectively. The latest update for users who haven’t installed it previously will come with software with a package size of more than 3 GB. Meanwhile, users who have already installed the bug fix update will receive a smaller software package, measuring 352.50 MB.
