Samsung One UI 6.1 eligible devices list: Is your Galaxy device on it?

We’re hearing some news about One UI 6.1, although it might be a bit early to discuss it. A Samsung community moderator talked about it along with the latest version of Samsung’s popular app, Good Lock.

Samsung is moving quickly with Android 14. They’ve already released One UI 6.0 for Galaxy S23 phones. One UI 6.1 will be the next version of Samsung’s custom Android software, and it’s coming in the first part of next year, along with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.

Just like One UI 6.0, the upcoming One UI 6.1 will also run on Android 14. This new version will have lots of cool features and improvements, and some of these features will also be given to older Galaxy phones. Let’s see what’s in store for this release and which phones will get it.

One UI 6.1 could coming with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series

If Samsung follows the same pattern as before, the One UI 6.1 will be released with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. This will be an improved version of One UI 6.0, which will be released for the Galaxy S23 in the coming weeks. One UI 6.1 will still be based on Android 14 and will have some new features. Some of these features may only be available on the 2024 flagship series, especially if they require new hardware. But most of the new features will be available as a software update for older models.

We don’t know what new features will be in One UI 6.1, even though Samsung mentioned it a few days ago. Some of the new features will probably be related to the camera, and the Galaxy S24 series will definitely have some impressive new camera features (especially the Galaxy S24 Ultra).

Samsung One UI 6.1 Eligible Devices List

Having an accurate list of Samsung Galaxy smartphone and tablet models that will receive One UI 6.1 is impossible right now. Surely the manufacturer will provide detailed information on the distribution, but only after the launch of the Galaxy S24 series, which is expected to take place by the first quarter of 2024 (perhaps in early February). However, we can make assumptions based on the precedents from the Seoul House and the promises related to software support.
