Gboard to Add New Feature for Scanning Text
Google always tries to bring innovation to Android devices. To do this, there are multiple software updates available, where the main software update is the Android version and the other is a minor update for the stock applications. For example, recently it introduced a new update for Google Play Services, and now, moving on, the GBoard is also getting a new update with a significant new feature.
Gboard gives a direct scan feature for Android devices
Samsung has rolled out a new update for the Gboard with version number 13.6; however, it is a beta update that is giving a new feature to the users. As per the information, the latest feature will give the function to scan any document directly from the Gbard. In other words, you will not have to open any cameras or other functions. The only thing you have to do is tap on the option to scan documents by tapping on the dedicated button.

Additionally, it has some more options, like recognized text, and among other things, you will be granted the ability to insert it into your typing. The scan text tool will remain on the screen, so you can quickly make another selection.
As said earlier, the latest feature is available for beta users. You can still do it by joining the beta version of the application from the download page of the Google Play Store. If you are not able to join the beta, you can still try the feature by downloading the latest beta version from an external source.
