Android Auto is one of the most appreciated car accessories. It is an infotainment system that brings several functions for convenience for drivers. From time to time, Google releases some new updates to bring more ease to its users. However, it does not always update the overall infotainment system but also gives minor updates for the existing applications, like now Google Maps is getting a new update.
Google has now rolled out one more fresh update for its navigation app, Google Maps which is available for Android Auto users coming with version number v11.104.0100. It has received several map changes that have capabilities that aim to fix bugs and improve its interface. Moving forward, it has made some more improvements for better navigation.
More specifically, in the new update, Google Maps has grabbed some initiative with graphic changes, such as the redesigned button, which gives it a more modern look, and making every element of the window more compact, aiming for the least distraction possible.
Additionally, as per the information, users have noticed that with the new update, the company has introduced a slightly larger and bolder font in several places, including expedited arrival timings and missing kilometers. In addition, it has adopted a new design for showing the information; now it integrates perfectly into the card within the icons relating to interrupting navigation, searching for alternative routes, additional locations, adding stops to routes, and the options button.
Along with these, the green section dedicated to navigation directions has also been slightly renewed and more compact. With all these changes, it will attract you to the service, but make it more pleasing to the eye and give a more modern experience. So if you also want to experience all these new changes on your car display, then you should update the application to the latest version.
The latest update for Google Maps for Android Auto is now available on the Google Play Store; you can easily download it from there. Additionally, for better compatibility, you should also update Android Auto to the latest version, i.e., 10.8.
