One UI 6.0 Key Features

Since One UI 6.0 is a major update, it’s pretty obvious that it brings a variety of new features, improvements, and changes for enhancing the device’s functionality and performance as well as the users’ experience. Here are a few key features that upgrade the device effectively.

Improved Quick Panel Brings a New Button Layout

With the latest Android 14 based on UI 6.0 update, the company is offering a new button layout for the Quick Panel, which helps the users access the features they use the most quickly. For instance, now Bluetooth and Wi-Fi have their dedicated buttons placed at the top of the screen. Whereas the features that use less equipment, such as the eye comfort shield, have been replaced on the bottom side. Also, a customizable area appears in the center where users can pick and choose the buttons.

Enhanced Notification Sorting

Everyone uses a variety of applications, and each application sends dozens of notifications. So now, with this latest update, Samsung has improved the manner of sorting through them by authorizing the users to sort notifications by time. This makes sure that the users can find the most recent notifications conveniently and quickly without any extra touches, no matter how many notifications are already in the line.

Transcribe calls along with Bixby

Android 14-based One UI 6.0 offers the facility to transcribe calls with the Bixby Text feature. Once this feature comes into practice, it converts what the caller is saying into text. It also permits users to type text responses, which are then played back to the caller in Bixby’s voice. Previously, users could only enable Bixby Text before the call was picked up. But now the company has the power to enable this feature even during calls.
