Samsung Expands One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy S21 with Circle to Search
Samsung started expanding the One UI 6.1 update to more units of Galaxy S21 series devices. Earlier, the company introduced the update to only South Korean units, but with the latest development, it has started rolling out the update to European countries and is expected to expand it to more regions.
Samsung has rolled out the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra devices, which come with the firmware version number G99*BXXUAGXDA. The latest update hasn’t brought the May 2024 security patch for the device and is still using the April 2024 patch.
The Galaxy S21 series grabs Circle to search feature
Samsung has introduced several Galaxy AI features with the One UI 6.1 update for all flagship Galaxy devices except the Galaxy S21 series. For this device, the company has only introduced the circle-to-search feature, which brings the ability to instantly search for the things that appear on the screen.
Along with this, the update will also provide several new features that will bring more options to customize the existing functions, including lock screen, wallpaper, alarm, calendar notification, etc. For more privacy, the attest update also brings some enhancements for the Samsung cloud and a passkey.
The One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S21 series is now live in Europe. You can check the update by going to the software update via system settings. If you haven’t received the update yet, wait for some time until it expands to all the devices.
