Cloud gaming just authorized the Instant Plays feature, although it is currently in the beta stage. Samsung Corporate Vice President Jikhan Jung stated, “We continue to listen to the player community, and we know that bringing game streaming with cloud technology to the mobile platform provides a substantial update to the current app store for a more seamless experience.”
Cloud gaming is the term that refers to a type of online gaming that streams video games from remote servers to a user’s device; it is generally known as game streaming.
The Korean Giants think that the Instant Plays feature of their mobile gaming hub is a game changer as it enables cloud gaming without even downloading. According to them, it will play a role in mobile games and game enthusiasts, just as streaming services play for movie and music audiences.
This feature will surely offer the opportunity for games to reach a vast range of audiences. The game streaming approach of Samsung is expanding access and growth in gaming across the Galaxy ecosystem.
To feature Instant Plays, Gaming Hub for mobile offers instant access to games without even installation, which leads to greater game discoverability. Instant Play is currently in a limited beta with particular games in the US and Canada.
Also, the cloud platform of Samsung supports Android native APKs, which offers an attribution solution based on the cloud along with major mobile measurement partner (MMP) providers, and it also supports existing in-game monetization models for a smooth fit with the current operations of game publishers.
Noticeably, Samsung Gaming Hub for larger visual displays can be found on specific Samsung Smart TVs, monitors, and the Freestyle second-generation projector.
