One UI 6.1 Now on Many More Samsung Phones and Tablets

Despite the near completion of Samsung’s Android 14-based One UI 6.1 era, a few Galaxy smartphones have yet to receive the update. Fortunately, the majority of Galaxy smartphones have received the latest One UI 6.1 update; let’s take a look at the device names.

Samsung introduced One UI 6.1 on the recently launched Galaxy S24 series, along with dozens of generative AI features under the Galaxy AI title. Then, in the second batch, the giant expanded the update to include Galaxy AI features for the 2023 Galaxy flagship device; in the third batch, it released the update for the 2022 Galaxy flagship device, albeit with some limitations. Following three batches, the company began distributing the update extensively across all markets, albeit without the Galaxy AI package.

Let’s count the Galaxy devices that grabbed One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI

Samsung exclusively introduced the Galaxy AI package on the Galaxy S24 series, so at the top of the list, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, and Galaxy Tab S9 series devices received the One UI 6.1 update with the full suite of Galaxy AI features.

In the second phase, the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Tab S8 series also received the One UI 6.1 update with the Galaxy AI power package. Notably, the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3 already received the One UI 6.1 update, but only with two AI features: Circle to Search and Chat Assist.

Galaxy Devices received One UI 6.1 without Galaxy AI

Due to hardware requirements, Samsung Galaxy AI won’t be available on many devices. Unfortunately, with the exception of the flagship smartphone, the Galaxy AI features are not compatible with the rest of the Galaxy phones, preventing them from functioning seamlessly and flawlessly.

The Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A73, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A54, Galaxy Tab Active 5, Galaxy A15, Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ received the One UI 6.1 update without Galaxy AI features.
