The Samsung Galaxy S25 is supposed to launch later this year at the Galaxy Unpacked event, and before the official launch, it is spotted running a One UI 7.1 test build on the server.

Samsung is setting up to host a Galaxy Unpacked event on 22 January in San Jose, at which it will debut the Galaxy S25 series that is supposed to run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. However, currently, a new Galaxy S25 One UI 7.1 test build is spotted on the server.

A reliable tipster, Tarun Vats, on X, shared a post revealing that the Galaxy S25 series is spotted on the test server running One UI 7.1 with the dedicated internal build S938BXXU1AYA1.

To date, it’s predicted that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box, but now the newly spotted One UI 7.1 internal build hints that the series could be based on One UI 7.1.

Noticeably, Samsung has a ritual to debut its latest Galaxy S-series smartphones based on its One UI x.1 iteration. Currently, the company is still working on One UI 7 and is 0yet to release the stable version. However, for now, there’s no official confirmation whether the series will be Android 15-based One UI 7 or One UI 7.1 out of the box.
