Samsung is gearing up to debut its seventh-generation foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. A few confirmations regarding both devices surfaced online; let’s take a closer look.

Samsung is supposed to debut the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the early second half of the year. PandaFlash, on X, shared a bunch of posts confirming multiple things regarding the coming foldable phones.

According to the PandFlash, Samsung will start the upcoming foldable phone’s production in May this year. Usually, the company debuts its latest generation foldable phones based on the One UI x.1.1 iteration, but this time it will go with the One UI x.1 (i.e., One UI 7.1) iteration.

The tipster revealed that currently, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 test software is based on the One UI 7.1 version. It will also bring all-new Galaxy AI features based on One UI 7.1 to add an extra layer of advancement.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is now confirmed to feature a 2600 nits peak brightness. It also confirmed that both devices will have an upgraded vapor chamber cooling system and a new, smoother, and more durable hinge mechanism. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 display crease is expected to be almost gone.

However, Samsung has yet to reveal the official details regarding both the coming foldable devices, so it will be interesting to see whether all of this leaked confirmation will come true.
