One UI 7 Lets You Customize Settings like FPS and Resolution for Each Game

Samsung’s One UI 7 is the biggest upgrade ever in One UI’s history so far, while also introducing certain changes and improvements for the Galaxy audiences. One among them is the inclusion of a refresh rate up to a higher 120Hz in the Game Booster settings.

One UI 7 users can now set a higher 120Hz refresh rate:

First introduced with the One UI 7 Beta 3 build in Galaxy S24 devices, Samsung has now started offering the new ability with the Galaxy S25 with Gaming Hub’s Game Booster that will allow users to set their default refresh rate to 120Hz, which was earlier limited to 60Hz. Thus, they will be able to switch between 60 and 120 Hz.

Users can easily find this newest capability under the Gaming motion smoothness settings. Now that the gaming hub is getting more improved, the Game Booster will offer more flexibility to the gamers while they are gaming and in turn lead to a smoother gaming experience.

One UI 7 also allows customizations for individual games, including FPS

On the other hand, with One UI 7, Samsung has also added a Customizations for Individual Games option under the Game Booster settings that will permit users to customize individual games, with certain options including game optimizations, FPS, screen resolution, and frame booster. Whereas the FPS, or refresh rate, begins at 20 Hz at its lowest, it can go up to 60 Hz.

As of now, only the Galaxy S25 series smartphones are running the stable Android 15-based One UI 7 version, and thus, these aforementioned changes can only be experienced in the newer flagships. While Samsung may release another beta version, the One UI 7 Beta 4 for the Galaxy S24 series, fans need to wait for the stable version, as it now gets delayed further.
